Friends

Friends are a vital part of a healthy life. Having friends who get and understand you is so important. It is sad that some people do not have quality friends in their life. These people have a hard time going through each day. People who have a life full of friends are happy and are a lot more contented. The quality of your friends can directly influence the quality of your life.

On earth, My disciples were My friends. As you have read, the Apostle John was pretty close to Me. I was also very close to Mary Magdalene. She had a deep heart and was quite mystical and I enjoyed My time with her, sharing mystical things about the Kingdom. There was a limit to how close people could get to Me, however, as there was so much to Me and My mission that they simply did not understand. My disciples did not understand, for instance,
that I was going to be crucified, and this knowledge that I had to bear on My own caused Me to be quite alone, even though I was surrounded by people.

As I shared in the post Alone earlier, one can reach a stage in your Christian walk where you can feel very much alone. You can have revelation and wisdom to such a point that your friends do not provide the level of comfort that you might have hoped. This is the time in your life that you should be friends with God and with Me. In time, We will grow very close to you and fill the void in your life. I know I could do with more friends who loved and understood Me for who I am. I know that My Father would love people to love Him for who He is. We will be good friends to you. Draw close to Us and We will most certainly draw close to you.
