Having a teachable spirit

There was a time in my life where I thought everyone was wrong with what they believed about the Bible and God has shown me the truth. In those times I had no friends and no one wanted to hear my revelation truth that I thought I heard from God.

I was so proud and I could not be told I was wrong.

I thought I was the Last Elijah for 16 years. I was in delusion that me and another prophet was going to judge the world. I could not be told that I was wrong and for 16 years I read the prophets in the OT and believed that God was an angry God.

I became a very angry and prideful person.

Then God broke me, through an four year long hard trial.

Now I am less prideful. I have had about a hundred prophecies that have said how humble I am.

Humility and being teachable go hand in hand. When you are teachable you’re open to new ideas and you will even listen to an argument that a person has that conflicts with what your believe.

When you are teachable you can be corrected. People can speak into your life and correct you when you are out of order, or you are simply wrong about something. In humility, you will even take correction off someone that is being rude to you.

When you are teachable, God will use you to teach others. First He will teach you some truth, then He will have you walk out that truth in your life, so you have testimony to back it up, then He will have you share your truth and your testimony with others.

Today, I look forward to people correcting me as I know when they do, I learn something that is new and liberating.

To be humble and teachable is a wonderful thing.

Pray with me:

Dear Father

I want to be conformed into the image of Jesus to this world. Help me to see my faults and correct them. Help me to become more open and become more teachable. Help me learn how to humble myself dear God.

In Jesus name I ask.
Amen
