Jesus Speaking Today- Joy

Joy

It is My will that the subjects in My Kingdom live in joy. I am a King who wants to rule in the hearts of all My people and I want joy to rule in their hearts. I have come so My people will understand the fullness of joy that is available to them. I desire My people to move from the mundane, painful, purposeless life to one full of love, joy, and meaning. I love it when My people are full of joy and are happy. Even though things are quite dark on earth and many millions of people are in slavery and suffering, My Father and I still experience joy.

When I was on earth, My days were full of joy. I was a man of sorrows as scripture prophesied, but I was a man who also walked in great joy. This seems paradoxical. But it is true. People who met Me saw the love in My eyes and the joy in My smile as I greeted them. There were many reasons for Me to be joyful on earth. I was bringing the Light to men, a Light that had been hidden for many hundreds of years since the last prophet had spoken to Israel. As I lived and died on the cross, I had great joy in My heart about the path I was creating for the world to come to the saving knowledge of Me.

Even when life on earth is dark and corrupted, you have permission to have joy in your heart. In fact, when you carry large burdens for the people suffering on earth, you need the ability to walk in great joy as well. If you can’t walk in joy and you just carry the burdens, your life will be on a downward spiral that cannot be sustained. It is My prayer that all of you who are reading would be able to practice My presence where there is fullness of joy.
