Journal 14
God:
How are you today?
Matthew:
I am good. I have worked out the title for this homework that will become a book of instruction on how to do this. It’s called Getting Right with God: Exploring Intimacy through Daily Journaling and the Courts of Heaven. I think the title shows people what it is all about. I have found even though I struggled to get this done, it is having a good effect on me.
God:
Yes, Alex, your counsellor didn’t just make this up for you to do. He got the template from me. He doesn’t get you to do it just to give you something to do each day. He gives it for you to do because there is real value in doing it each day.
You have heard from Lisa who started to do it also, and how it is impacting her life. She is going though great change and really drawing closer and closer to me through the process. It really is a great way to live your life and how to do quite times with me each day.
Matthew:
The homework takes a lot out of me. I know it is good for me, but it really takes a lot out of me.
God:
That is because we are dealing with real issues each day. As Alex said to you, it’s not even you that is struggling with this, but it is dark forces in you that are not liking it. They don’t want to lose their hold on your life, and they don’t want to be exposed and for you to be set free. Every day we expose another lie that you believe the more you become free and whole.
Matthew:
I am amazed that I believed so many lies. A person might think that they have a good faith, a healthy faith, and if they started these journals each day they would get a real surprise with all the junk and lies that they are holding onto.
I feel that these journals are healing me. I don’t so much feel it, I know it. I am so thankful to you God.
God:
All things are possible for those that believe. Go on now.
Openness and vulnerability 14
Matthew:
What lie am I believing?
Father:
You believe that you have to be open about everything to be true to people and us. The facts are that some things need to be kept personal. Some struggles that you face will cause others to stumble if they knew you struggled. It is quite okay to hold some things back and only share them with a few select friends. It is not only true with your struggles but this also goes for revelations that you receive. Some revelations should be kept to yourself and can do damage to people if you share them. You can be very transparent and not share all of your life with people. Satan will have a field day with you if you don’t recognise this.
The people of Israel never learned that King David committed adultery with Bathsheba. Nathan was told by me, and when he confronted David that was enough to make David repent. David who was very open and honest didn’t share that sin with the people of Israel who he was leader of. So too, when you stumble and fall in the future, you need not tell all your friends on Facebook. I say this because there is nothing you won’t share, but I want to protect your good name.
This is not hiding your shortcomings. You can share them with your close friends and ask for prayer if you need prayer, but sharing them with the public is not something that you need to do. I bring this up because I want to protect you and I want you to be careful with the people you follow and not weaken or effect their faith.
Matthew:
This is important for me to hear. I wondered where I should draw the line. I wondered whether I should even draw a line. It is good for you to highlight this to me and even use an example out of the Bible that makes sense to me.
Father:
Also with revelations. Some people cannot receive what you have been told and what you have experienced to be true. You will need to tell the people only what I tell you tell them.
Even Jesus couldn’t tell his disciples everything but he left it up to the Holy Spirit to lead them into the truth that he could have told them. There will always be things that we don’t want you to share, but we want you to know. You may sit on a truth, a revelation, for ten years before we tell you to release it. See you in the courts
Courts of Heaven 14
Jesus take me to the courts.
I see the court. It has the four living creatures before the bench where God sits. I honour them. I acknowledge the Father and honour him and give him praise. I love you Father. Thank you for your revelations today. I see Jesus and I honour him and praise him. I see my personal angels and I honour them. I praise God for this court. I see other angels in attendance.
I see the accuser; He says Matthew is not being truthful when he withholds truth.
I agree with the accuser that when I withhold truth I am not being truthful. I repent of times I did not tell the truth when I was asked for it, Father forgive me for those times I have done that.
Father
You are forgiven for the times that you withheld truth when asked for it Matthew. You are forgiven for lies you have told. However, the accuser is trying to enforce that you are always forthcoming with everything. It’s subtle but he wants you to continue to share everything with people. I have told you to only share what I tell you to share and nothing else. I want you to listen. I make a judgement that you will from this day share only what I tell you to share.
I judge the accuser and send him to be punished.
I write a scroll for you that says. “I will only share what God tells me to share.” Please put it up in your house next to your other scrolls.
You are a really honest and transparent person Matthew. We will give you many great things to share with people.
Matthew
I thank you Father for your decision. I thank you for loving me and keeping me. I thank you Jesus for being a witness. I thank the four living creatures for being here. I am not sure why they were here. I thank you angels for being here. I thank my personal angels. I honour you all who are righteous and holy in this court. I praise you all. I love you. I leave the court.
