Getting Right with God- Part 16

Journal 16

Matthew:

How are you God? How do feel about the state of the church?

God:

So you are turning the questions around on me. We normally start these journals talking about you.

I want to be honest with you because we are friends. I am not happy with the state of the church. My church is meant to be made up of disciples and followers of Jesus but very few Christians know what Jesus taught, let alone obey it.

I get sad at times. It’s hard to hide my sadness from you because I know you understand me. I know you will listen to me. My church is far from where I want them to be.

As your pastor shared, there is the church, and then there is the body of Christ who are passionate called out followers. There is the church at large and then there is the remnant. I am calling the body of Christ, the remnant to reach back and help save the church.

It hurts me in a very deep place. It’s hard not to cry right now. I long for a people that would follow me. In the time of Moses only a few entered the promised land that left Egypt. In Elijah’s time only 7000 had not bowed their knees to foreign gods. Today, the people that I can depend on is only a few people out of every hundred people in the church.

I wish it was different. What more can we do? The church has the Holy Spirit, the have the Bible in any translation they choose, they have hundreds and thousands of books, the have Christian Television, the have videos and podcasts. They have all manner to learn but few people really learn to obey me.

I am pleased that you asked me that question.

Openness and vulnerability 16

Matthew:

What lie am I believing?

Father:

You believe that your Facebook friends are really your friends. Some of you Facebook friends are spying on you. Some of them have heard of some of the things you teach that are way out and they are friends of yours collecting evidence so they can speak bad of you.

This is one of the reasons I have told you not to share everything. There are things you could say that can be used against you by people like that. I don’t say this to make you fear. Any enemy of yours is an enemy of mine, as I am a God that has made covenant with you. I will protect you and help you persevere and I will prosper you, but it is important for you to know that not everyone who reads you posts is a true friend to you.

Matthew:

I don’t mind really. I am only friendly with a few hundred people out of the thousands of people of mine that are friends. I take you warning and I remember talking to you about keeping some things personal and to myself. I can see the wisdom in this now. You are also a God that makes all things work together for good.

Father:

Yes, I make sure everything works out for your good. That is one of you most favourite scriptures. There is a lot of work to do in your life to fulfil that verse. I am laughing. He ha, that is so funny. You really keep me and the angels working hard to make everything turn out so good for you. Thanks for making me laugh. Take care.

Courts of Heaven 16

Jesus take me to the court.

I see the court. There is a cloud of darkness at the accuser’s part. Its overwhelming. I see the Father. I see Jesus and the angels. I honour God, Jesus and the angels.

The accuser appears, it is Satan. He says I am a false prophet and heretic.

Matthew:

I agree that some may see me as a false prophet and heretic. I repent for any heretical things I have said and taught. I confess my sins. A false prophet is someone that leads people away from God, so whilst Satan and other Christians might say that I am one, I can’t agree that I am one, but for the sake of the court, some people might think that I am. I repent for any truth this accusation may hold on me.

Father:

You are my child and you are my pure hearted prophet. Nothing you teach is heretical. This accusation is a lie from the father of lies. His presence here was meant to scare you and trip you up and even confuse you in what to do. I declare you righteous and holy and I wash you in the blood of Jesus. You are my prophet.

I judge the accuser and I will deal with you in due time. You are put on notice Satan when it comes to Matthew.

I write a scroll with my own hand saying, “Matthew is my friend, my prophet and teacher to the body of Christ.” Take that scroll and hang it on your wall near your computer.

Jesus:

You are a teacher and a prophet Matthew. The accusation has no truth in it at all. Don’t pay any attention to it.

Matthew:

Thank you Father for your scroll and your words. I honour you. Thank you Jesus for your words and your presence here. I thank the angels that were present here. I thank my personal angels. I honour all of the angels. I thank you God for declaring me righteous. I leave the courts.
