Journal 17
God:
How are you today?
Matthew:
I am in good spirits. I have slept in most of the day. I am refreshed and happy.
God:
So you want to question me more today?
Matthew:
Yes. I want to know how we are meant to get people free from religion?
God:
You can speak about your freedom and what it feels like. You can draw close to people and share your experiences with them. There is nothing quite like modelling something. You can preach to people all day long but when you act differently in front of people that makes a difference.
You are quite religious now Matthew. I have to laugh. You got so hurt by hyper grace/extreme grace that you almost bounced back to becoming a full legalist again. It’s because you have seen both extremes that you recognise them all too well.
You do a great job writing books that lead people to the grace of God, and then you have books that are more radical for people that want to go further. Your books are full of testimony, even your books dictated by the saints have testimony about you in them. In this way you are sharing your life with people, who as they read can find their way out of bondage.
Matthew:
What is going to become of your church? What is going to become of the people that are not in your remnant or the body of Christ?
God:
They are like people who visit the temple and stay in the outer courts. They don’t experience the most holy place and the intimacy of that place. I wish that all my people might come to know me. I encourage all the readers of this homework that you do, the blog and eventually this book, to start to journal with me also. I want to talk to my people face to face and encounter them. I want to be able to talk to them daily and share my life and my thoughts with them.
So many people would have a lot better relationship with us if they learned to hear from us and started to journal with us. I want to be able to speak to people plainly and simply. That is the reason we are going to have you publish these journals into a book. Our aim, is to encourage other people to start to journal. Take care.
Openness and vulnerability 17
Matthew:
What lie am I believing?
Father:
You believe that you have to be right all the time to be a teacher. If you had to be sure that you were right all the time to be a teacher, then you would never start. You try your best to be right about what you teach, but I see you still have the courage to step out and teach. I commend you for teaching.
Matthew:
There are some issues that I am not sure about. I try my best to research what people are saying even when I think what they are teaching and sharing is false. I don’t want to be false in what I teach.
Father:
I told you to read what people were saying that were sharing error. I told you to investigate. You have forgotten I told you to do that. I want you to know that people know your heart Matthew. The people that read your books know that you have a pure heart that runs after me and they would excuse you if you taught something that was wrong in their opinion.
While ever you stay humble, while ever you stay focused on me and what I want you to teach, you will do a good job. Everyone learns from being in error at some point. People who have come out of legalism and religion are really happy when they are set free. They learned their lesson well. Sadly, many people who discover grace go onto to be even more religious about their freedom and cast of all restraint.
You can be sure we will lead you what to write and lead you though the Holy Spirit to the truth that you need to know.
Courts of Heaven 17
Jesus take me to the courts.
I see the Father and his throne. I see a sea of glass between us. I see the four living creatures in front of the Father. I honour the Father and them. I see Jesus. I see angels standing and flying in the room. I honour them. I see my personal angels by my side. I honour you guys.
I see my accuser. He says that I teach people recklessly without Biblical support.
I agree that I often teach without Bible verses to back up what I say. I suppose I have an aversion to people scripture stuffing their books. I have been taught error in legalistic teaching and extreme grace and both camps used many scriptures to propagate their error. I tend to only share the verses that come to mind as I teach. So, yes my teachings do not have as many verses as other people’s teaching. For that I am guilty.
Father:
I understand you Matthew. You are forgiven for the way that you teach. You are led by the Holy Spirit with all that you teach. You are a pure vessel that teaches our concepts and thoughts. You are a great teacher and I want you to continue to teach as you see fit. I judge you to be righteous and holy. I wash you in my son’s blood.
Here I have written on a scroll for you. “Matthew if a gifted teacher of my principles and concepts.” Please hang it on you wall.
Matthew:
Thank you Father. That accusation really stung me. I am pleased to have you scroll for my wall. I bless you Father. I honour you. I honour you Jesus and the angels that are present. I thank my personal angels for witnessing this. I leave the court.
