Journal 22
God:
How are you?
Matthew:
I am slowly waking up. I have been in bed for a while today. I am coming off a day without going to bed at night, a 36 hour stint.
God:
The lack for sleep seems to catch up with you now. It never used to. I guess you are showing your age.
Matthew:
That could be it. I am awake now. It took about an hour to wake up today. I was sleeping in too late.
God:
What you have to consider is that you are loved. You are loved while you are awake and loved when you are sleeping. I love everything about you. I love you at all times. Don’t worry about people thinking you are lazy. You do amazing things when you stay up all night sometimes. You keep yourself busy. Many people would not be able to stay up 36 hours let alone function really effectively through those hours. You seem to worry about what other people may think of you quite a lot. We will have to change that.
Matthew:
Yes, I am conscious of what people think of me. I think most people are like that.
God:
Whether most people do something is not a good measure of things. If something is not right, it is not right. Most Christians continue to have sin in their life, and yet that doesn’t make that right. There is provision in my grace to be free of sin. Just because most people worry about what other people think of them, does not mean you should live that way. I want to free you up. I want you to totally get away of worrying about man’s opinions.
Matthew:
I also think I am lazy sleeping in. It is my opinion also.
God:
And now we are talking real. If you look at how you sleep in, it is not more hours than the hours you missed sleeping the day before. You are simply catching up on sleep that you didn’t have the night before. You know if I had a problem with it, I would tell you. But it is natural for you to catch up on sleep when you are exhausted. Take care.
Openness and Vulnerability 22
Matthew:
What lie am I believing?
Father:
You think that you always have to post encouraging things on Facebook. You don’t feel that you can post an open rebuke there when sometimes that is what my church needs. I have encouragement to share and correction to say to my followers. I have to be able to use you to bring correction. I want you to post something now to bring correction. Go and do it now. I have given you the message about prince Harry’s wedding ceremony. Post it now.
Matthew:
I posted it. I have to say I feel nervous about it.
Father:
You know it came from me. You are in the middle of sharing my voice, so you know when I am speaking. There is little need to be nervous. I want to you to give the whole counsel of God to people, not just the encouraging stuff. You know a rebuke is a precious thing. When people need correction it is love that brings the correction. It is a lack of love that backs away from doing it. In this way you have been being unbalanced as my prophet. You only seem to share the uplifting and I want you to begin to share everything on my heart.
You ask me why I haven’t given you hard things to say. I tell you that you weren’t ready to receive and share what I wanted you to share. If you were not in the place where you would accept correction coming from me, what would be the use of me sharing it with you?
Matthew:
I understand. I give you permission to share these things with me, and I will try my best to share them with the people. I have posted two new posts now. I am encouraged that you are speaking to me in a very direct manner and correcting me in this.
Father:
You are a precious son of mine. You have a character that wants everyone to feel loved by me. You love to encourage people and you do that really good. Now it’s time to use your authority I have given you to make a real difference when it comes to error and false teaching. Take care.
Courts of heaven 22
Jesus take me to the courts.
I see the court. It is made of gold and precious stones are inlayed on the walls. God is on his throne. I pay honour to you Lord. Angels fill the room on duty. I pay honour to them. I see Jesus at my table. I honour you Jesus. I see my personal angels and I honour them.
I see the accuser; he says that I will not bring proper correction to the church.
I agree with my accuser and the accusation. I don’t bring correction to the church as often as I have had opportunity to. I repent for this behaviour and I will endeavour to bring more balance to my prophetic office. I never really realised I was doing this unbalanced sort of ministry.
Father:
You are forgiven. I know you are about to change and become more of who we have created you to be. This is a good truth that has been exposed here in the courts and your openness and vulnerability session. I wash you clean in the blood and give you some new authority to speak up and correct the church.
I judge the accuser and send him to be punished.
I write a scroll for you to put up in your house. “I will be a balanced prophet bringing edification and correction in equal measure.”
Matthew:
I feel so good. I feel as I have found more of my purpose. I have been corrected but it feels so good. I honour you Father. I honour you Jesus and say goodbye. I honour the angels and my personal angels. I leave the courtroom.
