Believing for the Impossible

God was speaking to me this morning about fasting. There are things He is desiring to do in our lives that a fast will help bring about. We must understand though fasting doesn’t “cause” God to move. Everything He gives to us is a “free” gift not based on any merit of our own. What fasting does is increase “our” faith to believe Him for the impossible to be made possible. I have seen abundant miracles break forth in my own life from fasting, but it was always due to “my” faith in Him.

Scripture says Faith pleases God and I believe it says this because faith BLESSES US. This makes Gods heart happy to see His kids prospering and walking in the fullness of His will. Faith unlocks a supernatural realm to us because it takes us from our soulish realm where doubt, worry, and unbelief reside and sets us in the spiritual frame of mind where peace, love, and joy reside. This realm is the realm of the third heaven where we are TRULY seated with Jesus Christ where healing, provision, and miracles, are abundant.

I know many are already fasting at the beginning of this year so I really felt impressed to post this to highlight how fasting does not twist Gods arm. We must have a correct perspective of our Heavenly Father who is always willing to give to us according to His will freely. He withholds no good thing from us! This proper perspective will better enable us to receive in faith freely the way we NEED to.

If you are believing God for something right now, a fast may help you break past any limitations you may be experiencing. Pray and ask God if a fast is the direction you need to head and then educate yourself. Fasting can be very beneficial not only spiritually, but physically as well.

As always, consult your physician if you have any health challenges before changing your diet.

God bless you guys!!!
With Love,
