Getting Right with God- Part 26

Journal 26

God:

How are you doing?

Matthew:

I am doing pretty well. I have just woken up after a good long sleep. It’s good to be up and ready to face the day.

God:

You woke up before and discovered that three of your books had been updated by your publisher. You uploaded them and went back to bed. It’s funny how you can do something and then go back to bed. You had your house inspection today and that went pretty good. He said the department of housing will look into finding you a cleaner. That will be good as you need a cleaner.

Matthew:

Yes, I felt the inspection went well. He told me not to worry a couple of times, which made me worry a little. But you said everything will be okay. I trust what you have to say about that. Yes, I slept out in my living room so I would hear the knock on the door when the inspector came. While I was up for that, I checked on my emails and uploaded my books to kindle. It makes me happy that you have an interest in every little thing in my life. You are not just this holy God that sits in heaven accepting praise and only concern yourself with religious activity. You are interested in every part of my life.

God:

You are important to me. I am interested in what is going on in your life. And it’s true, I am not just interested in religious things, I am interested in everything. Take care.

Openness and Vulnerability 26

Matthew:

What lie am I believing?

Father:

I just made it clear to you that it wasn’t what you think. You believed that I was only interested in religious things that you can do for me or others. The fact is that I am like any father. I am better than any father in that I care about everything that is going on in your life. I care about your worry that you have that department of housing are going to move you out of your two-bedroom apartment to a smaller one bedroom one. You are worried about how you would move. I am telling you that this is not going to happen to you. I am trying to re-assure you that you should not worry.

I care about everything in your life. The big things and the little things. Every part of your life. I don’t sit up in heaven waiting for people to do religious acts and only take notice when they do them. Like I have said, I even watch you when you are sleeping. I watch everything that you do, and I care about every aspect of your life. I care about the good things, the bad things, and the things in between.

You can consider that and talk to me about anything that is going on in your life. I will have things to say and advice to give you about everything, if you want my advice and you ask for it. I have a very active interest in your life. And that is not just because you are in some way special to me. It is because I love all of my children like you. Sometimes I wish that people knew this. It would be good of the world could read this conversation and come to know that I honestly care about every little thing about them.

I want you to be sure now that I care about every little thing in your life. I want you to be able to tell me anything and talk about anything that concerns you. We can discuss the Television series that you are watching now on DVD. We can talk about how you love it and how you love the characters. Honestly you can talk to me about anything and I will be not only listening, but I will speak to you about it. Take care.

Courts of Heaven 26

Jesus take me to the courts.

I see the courts. I see the Father and I honour him. I see Jesus at my table and I honor him. I see angels and I honor them. I see my personal angels and I share my love for them

I see the accuser and he says that I think I am better than other Christians.

I agree with the accuser. Sometimes I do think that I am better than other Christians. I feel most of the church is asleep or lukewarm and I honestly do think I am better. I repent of these thoughts and this behaviour. I have to accept that God loves us all equally. I ask for forgiveness.

Father:

You are forgiven Matthew. These thoughts are based on lies and a works mentality. I wash you clean in the blood. I cleanse you from these thoughts. I announce a new man.

I judge the accuser and send him to be punished.

I write a new scroll for you. “Matthew is my righteous son and Ii am well pleased with him.”

Jesus:

You are a good friend to me and always will be Matthew. No one can take our friendship away.

Matthew:

Thank you Jesus. I honor you. Thank you Father, I give you praise and honor. I thank you angels and my personal angels for being in attendance. I leave the court
