Getting Right with God- Part 55

Journal 55

God:

How are you doing?

Matthew:

It’s another day when I woke up at a normal time but I struggled to get up. I just got back from applying for my passport. In three week’s time I will have a new passport and be able to travel again, just in case you have plans for me to travel soon.

My pastor Andy said that I could come overseas with him next year when he goes. That may be a good experience for me. Last time I tried to get my passport there was a computer glitch and it would not let me apply. I was frustrated with that and eventually gave up with trying to apply. Today it worked fine and when I went in to book an appointment to process the paperwork they said I could do it right there and then. I had a feeling I should take all my paperwork and my old passport, and my feeling paid off as they processed my application right away.

I wonder what is in store for me over the next ten years that this passport will last for. I wonder who is going to invite me to speak to their church or conference. I look forward to seeing what presents itself to me.

God:

You are pretty talkative today. See what happens when you wake up at a normal hour and you have been up for half as day before you do your journal. You have edited the first book of journals today and it should be ready soon to publish. Five and a half hours you spent with your editor in three sessions editing it. You sure do put in a lot of effort to your books.

Back to your subject you were discussing. Yes, we are going to have invitations for you to speak in the USA and other nations. Like you are used to being told, you just need to be patient with us. I know that you will be. You please me with your patience. Take care.

Openness and Vulnerability 55

Matthew:

What lie am I believing?

You think that being internationally recognised would make things easier for you. The fact of the matter is that things are way simpler for a person who hasn’t got a household name. Having a big name will come with its own issues and warfare. Don’t forget these days where you are in a little obscurity. The days will come when you will really have to watch what you say and do. Not that you can’t handle it, but don’t despise the days of small beginnings.

You live your whole life looking forward. You look forward to travelling and speaking and being popular but in doing so you neglect to enjoy the days that you are having now. Right now you are impacting many people with your books. Right now people are being blessed by your blog posts. Right now you have lovely friends that you have the time to speak to like Lisa, Mary, Nicola and Wendy. One day in the future you will be very busy and you might not have the time to have a lot of close friends that you can speak to for hours at a time.

I am going to use you, sure, I am. I am going to use you to touch countless lives but take some time to rest now and enjoy what I am doing in your life right now and don’t spend all you time thinking of tomorrow and what will come of it.

Matthew:

I repent for this way of thought. I will spend time being happy for who I am now. I will take the time to enjoy myself right where I am at. Thank you for your input in my life.

Father:

These are just lies that keep you from your full potential and effectiveness. Take care.

Courts of Heaven 55

Matthew:

Jesus, take me to the courts.

I see the courts. I see the Father. I see Jesus and angels. I see my personal angels. I honor you all. Thank you for being here with me. I appreciate you all in my life.

I see the accuser, He has a picture of my son, He says, your son is mine.

I know my son is a Christian and his wife is a worship leader and so this accuser does not own my son. But my son and I don’t speak so often and this is what he is saying I think. I have tried a number of times to reach out to my son without much success. I leave this with God.

Father:

You have nothing to worry about Matthew. Your son is safe and okay. We are looking after him. He is ours. The accuser tells lies once again. I wash this guilt from you Matthew. I cleanse you in the blood of Jesus.

I judge the accuser and send him to be punished.

I write a scroll for you, “I am the best father I have been able to be.”

Matthew:

I thank you Father for the scroll. I thank you for my judgement. This accuser affected me with guilt. I thank you Jesus for being here. I hug Jesus. I hug my angels. I leave the courts.
