Getting right with God- Part 57

Journal 57

God:

How are you?

Matthew:

I picked up a sweat shirt that was sent to me by Nicola, speak to Wendy about my Mary Magdalen book that is being prepared by her and I did a read though with my editor for an interview with Martha that I am going to publish. So I had a busy morning. I just had lunch at a café where people from my church work and I was able to be greeted by them and be loved on.

God:

You did all that before you used to wake up. The days are getting longer for you now that you are keeping normal hours. It must be good to be living like a normal person, getting up at a regular time in the morning and going to be at the right hour.
Matthew:

Yes, it is a change. I went and got a book yesterday like you suggested and have been reading it. I haven’t had time today to pick it up, but I may be reading it soon enough. It is certainly good to kick back, relax and read for a change.

God:

You need to take time out to rest. It is good that you obey me and do what I say to you. I am pleased that you like your book. You are not to be a person that is all work and no play. You need to learn how to relax and let you hair down. It’s not enough for you just make a couple of phone calls a day to your friends, you need to be able to enjoy yourself in a way that is not working. Take care.

Openness and Vulnerability 57

Matthew:

What lie am I believing?

Father:

You think that international speakers don’t go through trials like you do. You think that when you are a Heidi Baker or Shawn Bolz that you won’t have trials and hardships. You seem to think that they are immune to problems and you keep living for the future and desiring their portion thinking that you will arrive and you will be problem free.

The truth of the matter is that their trials and problems are not diminished but magnified. They have bigger problems and they have to rely on the Holy Spirit even more than you do. They simply have exercised their faith muscles more than you.

Matthew:
I am so surprised that I can believe so many lies. They just keep on coming every day.

Father:

There are so many lies that have kept you bound up and stopped you form functioning properly. You are doing well exposing them with me. Every day, you wonder if there is going to be a stop to them, and you see me come out with another one.

You do think your problems are going to be over when you are an international speaker.

Matthew:

Yes I thought that was so. It is very naive of me. I don’t know why I believed that.

Father:

Take care.

Courts of Heaven 57

Matthew:

Jesus, take me to the courts.

I see the courts. I see Jesus at my table. I give him a bug hug. Thank you Jesus for my healing last night. I see the Father on the judge’s chair and I honor him. I see my personal angels and I gave them a hug and they whisper in my ear.

I see the accuser, he says I am not worthy to be an international speaker.

Sometimes I doubt it also. I don’t feel worthy myself. I just know I have a message for the body of Christ and I know the larger I become the more people I will impact. I repent for my wrong thinking with regards to this.

Father:

There is nothing to repent for. You are going to prosper in the kingdom and you are going to touch many lives. We will use you to maximum affect and you will really enjoy yourself. The key is that you need to enjoy yourself now and not always be looking forward to becoming popular.

I judge the accuser and send him to be punished.

I write a scroll for you, “I will affect many lives in the future.”

Matthew:

I thank you Father for the scroll. I thank you for loving me and understanding me. I honor you. I honor you Jesus and my personal angels. I leave the courts
