Message 7
Enemies
God:
How are you today?
Matthew:
I have slept much of today and now I can’t sleep and I have to be up for a while before I go back to sleep. I got inspired to come and chat to you again.
God:
I was leading you through my Holy Spirit to come and talk to me. I wanted to have a chat to you. This subject is about enemies. You have not had many of them in your life.
You have had a friend called Yianni that acted like and enemy to you for a number of years. He used to go behind you back and speak ill of you to everyone you tried to get close to. You wondered why you couldn’t make friends with new people and it was because of Yianni’s jealousy of you that prevented you from making friends with many people. You didn’t know that for the longest time that he was speaking behind you back, until one of the people he spoke to about you came and told you. It was years before you walked away from your friendship with him and then he became an outright enemy of yours. It was hard on you because you loved him. It is still hard for you to write about now because of strong emotions. I can promise you that I will look after him, but he will never change who he is because he is rebellious and proud and I can’t work with the proud.
Matthew:
I used to be rebellious and proud also Lord, but you got through to me.
God:
You listened to me and were obedient to me when I called you away from Yianni. If you had not have listened to me and had stayed being his friend, things would have been much harder for me to change you.
Many people reading this have the wrong sort of people in their inner circle of friends. Many people have the wrong sort of people in their lives. Some people reading this need to do an inventory right now and consider who I might be talking about. Life will be a whole lot better if they let go of these relationships. Sometimes you can’t progress until you let some people go.
Jesus had childhood friends in Nazareth. He had to say goodbye to them at some time to go on and achieve his destiny. Sometimes you need to let go of good to get to best and extraordinary.
Jesus developed enemies in his first week of ministry when he turned over the tables in the temple and whipped people. Some important people in Israel saw that and encountered that and never forgave Jesus. He as only doing what I told him to do. Jesus only ever did what I told him to do. Jesus was totally sold out to me, but the longer that he ministered the more enemies that he collected.
Jesus even had his only Yianni that betrayed him. In that last hour Judas gave him up to the leaders so they could arrest him. Judas, a close friend, became an enemy in that moment and on the cross Jesus was busy forgiving him.
Jesus was a model savior. He dealt with his enemies each day as he prayed lifting them up to me and asking me to save them in my wisdom. Jesus didn’t just tell people to pray for their enemies, he modelled it. He did not carry offense, ever. As soon as he was hurt, he said a silent prayer to me and released the hurt.
It is important that the people reading this do the same. As I look from heaven, I see so many of my people holding onto offence and bitterness in their hearts and this is no good. So many people have enemies and people that they can’t stomach and this is upsetting to me.
I know you don’t allow people to annoy you on Facebook Matthew. As soon as a person is attacking you and rising up against you, you block them and don’t think twice about them. There are some people that you have blocked that have quite big ministries that you kind of regret blocking but you stand by your decision and you have not added them back to your friends lists. I agree that it is better to let them go, rather than continue to be offended by them. In years to come when you are ministering around the world, and you meet them, you know you will be able to speak to them personally and tell them why you cut contact with them. Hopefully then they will have the humility to repent.
There is a time where it is best to confront a person and talk things through and find a resolution, then there is time to move on and ignore that person and pray for them. Some people, no matter how long you try and explain yourself to them will never see the light. I am God and I can’t turn the heart of Yianni for him to be in right standing with me and change his ways. He can hear from me, but he is obstinate and proud and he refuses my correction. The same can be true with people you meet. You can’t change them. With all his wisdom, Jesus couldn’t change the hearts of most of the leaders in his day. When you can’t change a heart, it is best to walk away, if you can, and pray for them.
Matthew:
It’s so good to hear you speak wisdom to me. I get harassed by Satan about some people I have blocked that had successful ministries. It is hard for me to think that people who are so successful with you and ministry could act in the flesh and be wrong, but your words reassure me that I did the right thing. I am coming to have peace about this.
God:
You know yourself that you are not always walking in the Spirit and that you can be wrong about things. One of the people that attacked you said that Michael the arch angel is an angel over Israel and would not have visited you in Australia. That is her understanding and she is wrong about that. You kept her as a friend, and later on she attacked you again and you felt led to block her. I led you to do that.
The other man in ministry prophesied over you and said that you are deceived to be interviewing saints from heaven. You know that you are doing my will and even your friend Wendy said that his prophecy should be ignored. There is no use keeping a person in your life that is utterly opposed to the direction I am taking you in. You were right to block him and I fully supported you in that.
Be at peace Matthew. Some people will pretend to be your friend, or think that they are your friend, but they will do more damage than an enemy to you.
You are righteous to me. You act well and I approve of the way that you live your life. Be at peace Matthew.
It was a joy to speak to you today. I hope we can speak about something more positive in the future so the subject does not weigh your spirit down I like this one has.
Matthew:
Love you Father.
