Destiny

God:

How are you doing Matthew?

Matthew

It was my birthday today and I am spending the night up. I never knew the next subject until I came to look at the index of this book. Tonight, I started to read The Purpose Driven Life again, and I really like it. It is amazing that we are to speak about destiny tonight.

God:

It is though I already knew about that isn’t it?

Matthew:

Yes, it is as thought you set me up. I know the Holy Spirit led my steps to buy the book on Kindle tonight. I think I am to write a book on the same subject about living in your purpose and your destiny.

God:

At the right time, you will write a good book on the subject. The purpose driven life has over a thousand scripture references in it. You would do well to have even a third of that many verses in your book. We’ll have to make you a student of the Word again won’t we. Your books might be better than wouldn’t they?

Matthew:

You are funny tonight God.

God:

Yes, I am with my favourite person and I am in a light-hearted mood. Everyone can be my favourite and people know that. It does not diminish the fact that that I love being with you. I love coming down to hang out with you. I am so happy you listened to the Holy Spirit and started to have a conversation with me.

I have so much to tell you and to share with you. You read the review that said that these books weren’t intelligent and very wise like other books he had read. You used to worry about that also, comparing these books to those of that other author with the books of the same name. That review did not affect you because you have heard testimony of people’s lives being changed by these books.

It is remarkable to you that people find our conversations great reading. You say, it is just about your life. You wonder why people are interested in your life. But don’t you see, they are way more than that. They show that I am a feeling God, a normal God, a God that is able to sit down and speak face to face with a friend.

People who read these books want a life like that. People are fascinated that I come to talk to you about your life. It is amazing that the Creator of the universe would come to earth and discuss your life with all its ups and downs.

Matthew:

Yes, I have paid a price for this relationship. It has taken a lot of time with Jesus to grow close enough so I would feel worthy to speak to you. I know that didn’t come out right.

God:

Yes. It wasn’t that you had to wait. It was that you were so hurt as you grew up that your idea of a Father in heaven was too much for you. You were scared. We had to teach you the right theology first of all. When you met me for the first time in heaven there as a lot of healing that took place. We still have healing for you to go through.

You have many things that you are going to explore and teach about. One key way that you are going to be used is to teach people how to find their purpose and walk in their destiny. You have a very bright future ahead of you. You are going to be used all over the world to open the eyes of the blind. You are going to show people my kingdom and all that is possible.

You are going to show people that it all starts with a relationship with Jesus and me. Your life is going to demonstrate that intimacy to people. You are going to teach them how to be like you. You are going to show them that it is simple but it does take effort. You are such a humble and obedient servant. We are going to model you and show people your life and encourage people to be like you.

You are a simple person. You have simple words and you describe things in a simple way. People love that about you. We never want you to change. We love you just the way that you are. We are going to use you on the world stage just the way that you are. We have your destiny planned out.

Matthew:

I guess I have been getting worried about my weight and my health. I guess there is an answer for me and a way that you are going to make a way for me.

God:

All we ask is for your co-operation in our plans. We have a way for you. You have to become invested in your health as it needs to be addressed. You have cut out caffeine and that was a good start. You stopped drinking coke and that was a good thing. Slowly we are going to make lifestyle changes for you.

We do really delight in you. We really do have good plans for your life. We have many books for you to write and many places we want you to travel to and teach. We are going to use you in a mighty way. Slowly we are going to build your area of influence. We are going to bless you, lead you and promote you.

People simply need to trust us and gibe their lives to us. By us, I mean the Trinity. We all have a vested interest in people’s lives. We want people to surrender their life to us. We want people to let go of the world and all it offers and cling to us. We want them to trust us and follow us and let us lead them the way we want them to go.

Matthew:

I thank you that you have taught me to live for you and not be swayed by the world and its lusts. I am happy that you have taught me and led me to do what I do. I want to thank you for leading me and giving me work for my hands to do. I want to thank you for the finances that you supply for me to publish my books.

I am so happy that you continue to supply me with finances. I am so happy that you inspire me with what to write. I am happy that you help me supply my cover designer with the right picture for my covers. Every step of the way, you are with me. You are a daily part of my life and I love you for that.

God:

You make me laugh with joy and merriment. I love you so much Matthew. You are so easy to lead and you are always turning your spiritual ears to the voice of my Holy Spirit. You are a joy to us. We really love you for everything that you are. You bring me much joy.

Sometimes I want to hold you in my arms. Sometimes when you are sad, I wish that I could just breathe on you and make everything be alright. But I can’t do that. You need to know that you can fight the bad thoughts with the right scripture. You need to lean on the scripture and overcome in faith.

It’s very important that you grow through your trails with faith in the Word of God and faith in me. Its important that you grow. I have faith in you and I know that you are going to make it. Nicola showed you a good scripture today that you can stand on. Here you can quote it here.

 

Isaiah 41:9-13

You whom I have taken from the ends of the earth,
And called from its farthest regions,
