Intimacy

 

God:

 

How are you Matthew?

 

Matthew:

 

I am good. It is the middle of the night. I had my first counseling session last night with my new counselor. I am feeling pretty good. You give me such a good life. A few posts ago, you said that I was going to have a new counselor and now here we are with a new one.

 

I have seen some good films lately. I saw Mary Magdalene and that really touched me. I was moved by her portrayal of Mary. Mary came with me to the film and we both enjoyed it.

God:

 

She is special to you isn’t she?

 

Matthew:

 

Yes, she has become a good friend to me. I know that you trust me with your saints because we are close to each other. You can trust me because you know I won’t get distracted by them.

 

I really think a vital key to the supernatural is intimacy. I am sure that I have relationships with my angels because you trust me. I feel if people run after the supernatural and they don’t have a close relationship with you than that can open them up to deception.

 

God:

 

This is true Matthew. So many people seek to meet saints and angels and have supernatural experiences and yet they have not got an intimate relationship with us first.

 

It is amazing that you have a lot of experience in these things but you don’t seek these things. You don’t run after them. You rely on the Holy Spirit and our agenda with you.

 

You are amazing in fact. I am so happy to know you. I am so honored to have you as a friend. I am touched that you are so willing to sit down and journal with me and then share it in books. Many people are going to be touched by these books and as you share these on your blog and you share them with your Facebook friends your friends are really blessed.

 

I can only imagine was another film that you watched this week. Of course many people may have sang that song and thought of the future when they meet me and Jesus. You have met us already. The world would be a greater world if all Christians could sit down and speak to us. It would be a greater world if the people of faith could actually meet us and speak to us and type our words like you do.

 

Perhaps that is why you are a pioneer in this way. Perhaps if you lead them and they get a hunger for your experiences than they will grow the faith to have their own.

 

In your counseling session you came up to heaven and met me face to face again. I want to encourage you to continue to get your hurts fixed. I know it’s hard for you. But if you persist and carry on your life will enter a new phase. Our relationship will grow closer and closer and the intimacy we will increase to out of this world.

 

I see you and I know your thoughts. I hear everything that you think. Pert of you is a little scared. That is understandable. But you are a survivor and an overcomer and I know that you can do it. I know that you can push through.

 

Matthew:

 

I am pretty sure that some of my thoughts of trepidation are not my thoughts but those of demons in me that don’t want to be ejected. Even if I have no demons in me, I know that these thoughts are coming from other sources. Of course I should want to be healed.

 

I understand that it is natural to fear change. I know you will be with me and help me.

 

God:

 

I want you to know that I am proud of you. That is right. Can you hear that? I am proud of you. You bring me so much joy.

 

You published King David Speaks from Heaven the other day. That made heaven so proud. We are so happy with how you touch lives with your books. You are always doing what we want you to do. I am so happy to have you working for us. The people that you touch are important to us. I know you don’t have as many readers as you would like, but we are happy with the people that you are reaching. I am so happy with you.

 

I think I simply need to share the simple things with you to touch you. You are my simple prophet that would not send anyone to the dictionary. You are such a simple person. You are so easy to please and touch. You bring me so much joy. I am constantly crying when I look at you.

 

Here you are. It’s the middle of the night. You are unshaven and you are playing your latest album, the greatest hits of MercyMe. You are relaxed and simply typing my words. It takes you quite a bit of time to type each of these posts. You are used to recording books and the same length of this post would only take ten minutes as a voice recording. You simply sit and type what I say. You are so simple. You are so easy to direct. I love that about you. I love you so much my son.

 

Matthew:

 

I am so sorry for all the pain I have caused you God.

 

God:

 

You are forgiven Matthew. You are my child. Thank you for saying that, but you keep short accounts with me. We have a way that we are working in your life. We are leading you and orchestrating change for you. You are in our hands. You are going to be set free. You are going to overcome. You are going to make a lot of people proud of you one day. A lot of people are already proud. Nicola, Mary, Wendy and Lisa are proud of you. And many more are proud of you. I am your biggest fan. You are remarkable. Your bloodlines had so much coming against you. It is remarkable that you are in the shape that you are in.

 

People have to know that no matter what comes against them, that with the right counseling and the right wisdom off God, they can make it through. There are a lot of people depending on the new Matthew. The Matthew at the other end of this counseling. I am in your corner and Mary Magdalene will be with you as a friend and helper.
