Getting Right with God- Part 45

Journal 45

God:

How are you?

Matthew:

I was up late and so I have slept in today. Gone are the days of staying up and bouncing back the next day. I think I have to get used to the fact if I stay up there are going to be consequences. It’s hard to wake up sometimes.

God:

But you are up now and you have gone straight to this homework have had a decaf coffee and taken your daily medication and now here you are.

I enjoy you. It is good to speak to you just as you are waking up. I get to speak to the real you. Before you wake up and start to process everything that is being said, you are so open like this.

Matthew:

I’d like to think II am always open but I know people are more vulnerable when they aren’t fully awake.

God:

I enjoy speaking to you. I love the fact that you are recoding my voice every day. I like the fact that you are sharing it on your blog so that others can read it. I love seeing your Facebook friends reading these conversations because a lot of what I say to you is relevant to them also. Many of the lies that you believe can be lies that they are also believing. This blog allows them to address their issues also before me.

I also just love to speak to you. I know that you are enjoying speaking to me each day also.

Matthew:

I am enjoying speaking to you each day yes.

Openness and Vulnerability 45

Matthew:

What lie am I believing?

Father:

You think you always have to be on top of your game. This is not true. You can have down time where you are not performing. You don’t always have to put your best foot forward. You can even minister when you are not on top of your game. You can simply be you and do what you feel to do at any one time.

You know this is true when you are doing prophecies for people. Sometimes you have to do prophecies when you simply are not in the mood to do them. You have done them before when you were not in the mood and you have received wonderful feedback from some of them that you did whilst you were run down.

It proves that my Holy Spirit can use you even when you are not on top of your game. My Holy Spirit is smart and can even use you more effectively when you are run down. Paul spent some time speaking about how God can use his weaknesses and how God glorifies himself in his weaknesses.

You have to get this performance attitude out of your mind and heart. You are not here to perform. You are not here to make people proud of you. You are to be my servant and to do what I say, when I say to do it. Just like you have done this homework when you have just got up and you are tired, but it is flowing really well, so too you can do ministry when you are not in the right frame of mind according to you. I can do all things through a submitted vessel. I want you to know that you are precious to me and I am very proud of you and I want you not to be so hard and demanding on yourself.

You are a treasure to me. You are my delight. I want you to be free of this performance mentality.

Courts of Heaven 45

Jesus, Take me to the courts.

I see the courts. I see the Father on his throne. I honor him. I see Jesus next to my table. I hug Jesus. I see angels in the court. I see my personal angels. I hug them.

I see the accuser, He says I am too weak to bring people strength.

I agree with this accusation. I am too weak in my own strength to give people strength, but with the impact of the Holy Spirit and the blood of Jesus I am able to overcome and be an example to people. I am weak and yet in my weakness I am strong. Though my counselling is taking a toll on me, I can still able to bring people strength.

Father:

It is true that you are weak but you are not too weak to bring other people strength. We reject this accusation. You know only too well Matthew that in your weaknesses that you are strong. I bless you and wash you in the blood of Jesus.

I judge the accuser and send him to be punished.

I write a scroll for you, “When I am weak I am strong.”

Matthew:
Thank you Father.. I honor you. Thank you Jesus and my personal angels. I hug you all. I leave the courts.
