This is a guest post by Shannon Suttles, a prophet and friend off mine on Facebook.
There have been THREE wild animal attacks on children in our nation in just the past two weeks. The gorilla who drug the three year old like a rag doll through the water at the Cincinnati zoo-thankfully the zoo didn’t value the gorillas life over the child’s and took all means necessary to protect said child. Hats off to them. Then the alligator attack in Florida at a Disney resort where the two year old wasn’t as lucky. 😰 God please be with his family in their great time of need. And now a mountain lion attacking a five year old while he played outside of his home in Colorado. This child survived too because the mother jumped on the mountain lion and pulled it off. This baby probably wouldn’t have survived had the mother not been MORE fierce then the lion in her love for her child.
There have been other horrific things happening in the news against children for TOO long. I just want to point out this one reality in regards to THREE “wild” animals attacking these kids in such a short period of time.
As a prophetic person, we look into the natural and see a dynamic taking place in the spirit. The Apostle Paul said our battle is not with flesh and blood. Meaning there is a much deeper battle going on that is beyond our ability to see with our natural eyes. A battle between good and evil. These three attacks is a vehement sign of what is taking place in the enemies kingdom against our children. We need to PRESS IN in prayer over our kids and stand where we are being convicted to stand.
As we are seeing more and more laws come into play that violate the safety of children, i.e. Transgender bathrooms and teaching our children about homosexuality in schools (without the ability to teach them about a loving Savior in the same setting), is a gross injustice against the protection of children. Regardless of your stance on these things, the one thing remains. Children are likened unto the Kingdom of God. If we do not do everything in our power to rear them in a way that is good and true, we are not putting Gods kingdom first and we leave them open to be attacked.
I have many gay friends and transgender friends. I believe God loves all of us. But we cannot put possible confusion on children in a school setting without providing them the answers of a loving Creator who designed them and loves them. Just because I love gays, this does NOT mean I will put them before children. To do so, would jeopardize my conscience before God and I wouldn’t be acting in love.
We will ALL account for our choices, what we support, and what we don’t take a stand for. You won’t be there with me when I stand before God. No one will be. That’s a very sobering reality. When we all will have to give an account for what we did or didn’t do with what we were given. This is simply what I address this. Because of love.
On the UPSIDE, I would like to say, in the two scenarios the children were saved by adults who took the necessary measures to save these kids. I believe this is a hopeful prophetic sign of what’s to come with the adults who have the power to protect our nations children, intervening with common sense, and taking every mean necessary to protect our kids from the devourer.
Because these are such powerfully controversial subjects, I would like to say this is not up for debate. I don’t have time to debate. My husband and I serve children and have for many years. They keep me busy enough and this is especially why I needed to address this. This is just a powerful observation. It’s never fun to say the hard stuff. But love says the hard stuff. But, I believe good things are coming ……. Arise and Shine Church. ARISE!

This is a sober warning indeed by a true prophet
