Getting Real with God- Part 12

Journal 12

God:

How are you Matthew?

Matthew:

I am feeling a little tired but I am in a good mood. My exercise bike was put together today and I have done two ten minute sessions so far. I did my other exercises and so I am feeling really good about myself. It is good to be doing what the exercise physiologist gave me to do for homework. I want to do everything that he has told me to do. I need to get fitter and more healthy.

God:

You are making a good effort. For a couple of days, you missed doing your exercises but it will be good if you do them every single day. We also want you to concentrate on getting into a better condition. We want you to be able to travel  and be in a good condition to do the work we have planned for you to do.

Matthew:

I ordered some pizzas last night after eating right for five nights. I know eating the right diet also will count toward my better health.

God:

There is no need to be beating yourself up about it. One slip, you can watch Television tonight and get on your bike and burn some of the pizza calories off. I want to tell you how proud I am that you bought that bike and that you are going to exercise on it. We are so proud of you, I say again. We have great plans for you Matthew and we want a leaner, heathier, you in the future so that you can do all that we have for you.

I know that you sometimes doubt your future, but we have planned it for you and we have you in our hands and we know exactly the changes you need to make and the decisions that you will need to make to get there. Take care.

Openness and vulnerability 12

Matthew:

What lie am I believing?

Father:

You think you need to sell many books each month to be a success. You believe that the more popular your books are, the better that you are. You have little understanding of how precious you are, and how powerful your voice is in the lives of people who know of you. You have little understanding of how you effect people with that you say and share in your books and Facebook posts.

Matthew:

I really do not have any idea of who I am in you. I guess I need to discover what sort of person I am and how powerful my books are in the lives of the people that read them. People have told me that reading my books has totally changed their lives, and yet that is hard for me to understand, as I seem only to be teaching thing that seem pretty simple to me. I tend to be writing on the fundamentals of the Christian faith all the time, and I am shocked that people don’t really understand them.

Father:

People do not just learn what you are teaching, they slowly get to know you. They see that you are not just some teacher or theologian who does not practice what you teach, but they come to see that you are authentically walking in what you teach. You are like the Apostle Paul to them. You are teaching them, and saying to them, “come on now imitate me as I imitate Christ.”

The church is lacking this sort of teaching and you are such a great teacher. I am so proud of you. Alex is right, there is demonic assignments against your life and you book sales at the moment, but in time you will discover these and deal with them, and when you are healed you will have great success in book sales.

I have told you many times that it is not quantity that counts, but it is quality of your teaching. And your teaching is top class. Take care.

Courts of Heaven 12

Jesus take me to the courts.

I enter the courts. I see a courtroom decked out in gold. There are precious stones in the walls. There are hundreds of angels and there is a glory cloud around God. I see God and Jesus and my personal angels.

I give honour and praise to my Father. I thank Jesus for being here and give him honour as he stands beside me. I give my personal angels honour and I honour the hosts of heaven that are here. I ask for forgiveness for any sins that have not been confessed and I wash myself in the blood of Jesus.

I see the accuser; he says I use flattery on people.

I agree with my accuser. I have noticed it manifest a couple of times this week when people didn’t receive what I said. I confess for using this as it was not my intention to ever flatter people. I ask that you forgive me of this and wipe this out of my life. I turn away from flattery.

Father:

You are forgiven Matthew. I see you are truly repenting and you are horrified that you have done this. I clear you of this offense and I give you the capacity to be led by the Spirit in all that you say in the future, so you can encourage without flattery. I bring a judgement of righteous about you and wash your lips with a hot coal.

I judge the accuser and send him for his due punishment

I give you a scroll saying “My lips will never flatter anyone.” Hang it on your wall.

Matthew:

I thank you Father. Bless you dad. I honour you for being my righteous judge. I was guilty and now you have declared me innocent I praise your holy name. I thank you Jesus and I thank all the angels present. I give honour to you all. I leave the courts.
