Getting Right with God- Part 35

Journal 35

God:

How are you today?

Matthew:

I am pretty good. I am a bit tired and I have found myself wanting to go back to sleep, but I stayed up to do this journal. It is not right that I sleep all day.

God:

No, it is not good that you sleep all day every day. I guess you need something to get you up in the morning and that is lacking in your life. You need not worry about that for now though. Just get up when you can and enjoy yourself. Life can be hard enough without you condemning yourself for sleeping in.

It is like this with my church. They are busy sleeping when there is work to be done. It’s harder to wake them up then it is to wake you up in the morning. I wish that the people in the church would obey my son and live like my son. I wish the church knew what living as a disciple of Christ actually looked like.

I was glad the church seemed to wake up to elect Donald Trump and yet shortly after they fell back into slumber, a deep slumber. I have so much I want to do with my church, but they are not aware of it and they are not listening to me.

I enjoy speaking to you each day. You are a treasure to me. I love how you come to speak to me every day. It has become a habit for you to approach me and speak to me. I enjoy you. Take care.

Openness and vulnerability 35

Matthew:

What lie am I believing?

Father:

You think freedom from pornography is impossible for you. You have been plagued with this addiction and you feel that it is beyond you to be set free of it. You have reprieves for a month or two and you get excited and then you fall again. When you fall, you get depressed and think that you are never going to be free of it. You need to renounce this lie. I will set you free and you will be free indeed.

Matthew:

I renounce this lie that says I will never be free of my addiction to pornography. I believe you. I chose to believe in you and your words even though it has not been my experience so far.

Father:

I will be good to you. I am happy with you and I love you. I love how you are so honest with me. You know I see everything, though you tend not to hide anything from me. I like that. So many people that follow me have things they won’t talk about and that they try to hide from me. It’s silly trying to hide things from me, but that is what they do.

I love how open you are with me. You are an open book to me. I enjoy your faith and the relationship that I have with you. I love you so much. Sometimes my love for you makes me cry for you. I love you so much. You make me cry Matthew.

Matthew:

I hope they are happy tears Father!

Courts of Heaven 35

Jesus take me to the courts.

I see the courts. I see gold and precious stones. I see many angels. I honor them. I see the Father seated on his throne. I honor him. I see Jesus next to my table. I honor him. I see my personal angels. I give them all a hug and I honor them.

I see the accuser, he says my pornography addiction is disgraceful.

I agree it is a bad addiction that I have tried to be free of. It is a personal disgrace, but not something that I am afraid to confess to others. I repent of my bahavior and ask the Lord to set me free. I want to walk in freedom.

Father:

And you will be free. Your addiction is attached to wounds that you have and in time we will address those wounds. You will walk in freedom soon. Have faith in our process.

I judge the accuser and send him to be punished.

I write a scroll of you Matthew. “I will walk in total freedom.”

Matthew:

Thank you Father for your promise. I honor you. Thank you Jesus for being here. I honor you. I want tto thank my personal angels and give them all another hug. I hug them. I honor you all. I leave the courts
